A Dog Called Dreckly Storytelling with Anna Wilson
10.30am Saturday 25th October
Anna Wilson is the author of over 60 books for children and adults. Her latest children’s book, A Dog Called Dreckly, asks: what do you do when a big, scruffy dog suddenly turns up? Surely he must belong to someone? It’s a heart-warming Cornish tale of being lost, found, and maybe finding your place too.
In this fun, interactive workshop, Anna will help you dream up bold new characters and send them on exciting adventures of their own. Come ready to share your best dog stories — and don’t forget to bring a photo of your favourite furry friend!

Gina Kaminski Rescues the Giant! Storytelling with Craig Barr-Green
12.15pm, Sunday 26th October
Join Craig Barr-Green as he reads Gina Kaminski Rescues the Giant in an interactive, unpredictable, and fun storytelling session.

Gina Is here to tell you three facts:
1. The story of Jack and the Beanstalk is FULL of BIG mistakes.
2. She has a plan to fix them.
3. Her plan does NOT involve magic beans (but there will be cake).
This empowering retelling challenges the traditional narratives we are told, with a bold, autistic character at its heart.
Craig writes picture books, non-fiction and theatre for children. He lives in Cornwall but has always been suspicious of the sea. What’s really going on down there?
