Sunday 26th October

2pm at Princess Pavilion

Join Prue Leith at Falmouth Book Festival for an afternoon of stories, flavour, and inspiration. Prue will reflect on her remarkable life in food — from the pressures of running a Michelin-starred restaurant and founding Leith’s School of Food and Wine, to judging The Great British Bake Off and campaigning for better food in schools and hospitals.

She'll also be talking about her latest book, Life's Too Short to Stuff a Mushroom, in which she shares all the shortcuts and hacks she’s built up over a lifetime of easy cooking. Prue’s philosophy is all about saving you time and money, and creating recipes where the cheat versions taste just as good as the home-made. How do you cook the perfect steak? What's the best way to dice an avocado? And what about when it just all goes terribly wrong?

Whether you're a food lover, an aspiring cook, or a fan of her writing, this is a rare chance to hear from one of Britain’s best-loved voices.

'Striking just the right balance between impressive dishes and hassle-free cooking, this is one of Prue Leith’s best books' Daily Mail â€‹
