Comedy Women in Print is the brainchild of comedian, author, and actress Helen Lederer. It is a new literary prize that was established with the aim of recognising, celebrating and encouraging witty women authors.

Helen will be joined in a wide-ranging discussion about comedy writing by Nina Stibbe, author of bestselling books like Love, Nina and Reasons to be Cheerful, winner of last year's Published book prize, and the bestselling memoirist, Cathy Rentzenbrink. Cathy's debut novel, Everyone Is Still Alive was published this summer to rave reviews.

Winners of the CWIP Unpublished award are published by Harper Collins. The Unpublished runners up win a place on either an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Hertfordshire or an MA In Comedy Writing at Falmouth University.
