Falmouth is Cornwall's most exciting and creative towns, and the Book Festival is right at the heart of it.

Now in its fifth year, the Festival brings together brilliant writers, curious readers, and a spirit of conversation and community. With talks, readings and workshops, it's a celebration of books and the ideas that shape them.
​
This year we're also proud to be partnering with the Falmouth Oyster Festival (October 9-12) on a series of food events.
Alongside the other great Falmouth festivals we’re building something special here.

Festival Activities
At Falmouth Book Festival there’s something for everyone: renowned authors in conversation; high energy poetry readings; children's events at local schools; and interactive workshops.
